We owned a caravan for five years, from me being nine to fourteen. We got rid of it in 1988 after my dad died as my mum was too upset to stay there anymore. It was my dad's favourite place and we all had some happy times there!

Oh how fun to have one of those!!!! I bet you all went to some fabulous places! I can imagine that it would be hard for your mom to keep it.
