Bedtime drama!

Had a good cleaning day yesterday and got some jobs done that have been put off for far too long! I am very glad that 'clean out bathroom cabinet' has now been crossed off the 'to do' list and I can open the doors without having toiletries spilling out all over the bathroom floor.

So after my cleaning day I picked the kids up from school, Mark came home from work and everything seemed ok until bedtime!!! Ben was in the bathroom and said he felt a little dizzy, well if you know Ben, some medical issue (normally feeling sick) is normal almost every night so I thought nothing of it. I took him to bed and told him I would be in to check on him in a few minutes. When I went back to check on him he was sat up in bed and said he couldn't lay down as the room was spinning. I sat with him for a while and then as he was not getting any better put him into my bed. He didn't look very well at all and his eyes were moving from side to side like he was watching the room moving and I knew that he must feel poorly because he normally falls asleep straight away once he gets into our bed but after about 30 minutes of him sitting back up and laying down over and over again I shouted for Mark to come upstairs because I was getting worried. Eventually after another 30 minutes he finally fell asleep holding onto the bed head! It made me feel so helpless that I couldn't do anything for him apart from hoping that he went to sleep. He does seem a little better today and said his dizziness is not as bad but he does feel sick. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is just a little bug especially as we are going on holiday for a week on Saturday and we have had numerous holiday disasters in previous years! In fact I will do a post on it and you can see how unsmoothly ( I know that is not a word) holidays have gone for us!!!

Well I better make a move, Ben and Max are now jumping off their beds and fighting so maybe I shouldn't have been too worried after all!

  1. aaww...hopefully it is nothing big.
    unsmoothly is not a word?

ah...the drama!! I can't believe that even though mine's only 4 months old, she already gives me drama at bedtime and naptime.
